Start With Easy Levels Before Your First Boss
Don't fight Mercenary Tao at level 2 when delivery quests can get you to around level 20 first. Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression becomes much smoother when you build your stats before tackling the North Earth story. Follow this Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression route to earn early XP, unlock transformations, and reach triple digits without spending Robux or relying on friends.
The route centers on three activities: noncombat quests, story battles, and an Other World finish. Your level at each checkpoint depends on the quests you complete along the way, so use these numbers as targets rather than requirements.
| Progress checkpoint | What to focus on | Next objective |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 to around 20 | Starting quest, purple delivery quests, easy yellow dailies | Prepare for Mercenary Tao |
| Around level 20 onward | North Earth story quests and stat upgrades | Defeat Raditz and the Z Fighters |
| Around level 50 | Check your race's transformation unlocks | Continue through Vegeta |
| Through roughly level 88 | Remaining North Earth story battles | Defeat Cooler |
| Remaining levels to 100 | Other World missions or additional dailies | Reach your next transformation milestone |
Choose Your Race With Later Forms in Mind
Half-Saiyan suits this Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression route because its racial ability doubles damage when your health reaches red. That bonus can help turn an early fight around, especially with a build that uses both melee and ki attacks.
There is a long-term tradeoff: Half-Saiyans cannot achieve Super Saiyan God in this progression path. Choose your race around the transformations you want later, rather than judging it only by the opening battles.
The walkthrough below follows a Half-Saiyan, including Great Ape at level 50 and Unleashed Potential at level 100. Other races have different transformation milestones; some receive their first form at level 100 instead of 50.
You can begin through the official Dragon Generations Roblox page.
Reach Around Level 20 With Special Quests and Dailies
The opening stretch of Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression is mostly about getting around North Earth efficiently. Finish the starting quest, then open your mission list with Tab on PC or left on the D-pad on Xbox or PlayStation.

Quest colors help you decide what to tackle:
- Purple: Special quests.
- Yellow: Daily quests.
- Red: Story quests.
Start with the purple errands that ask you to locate items or deliver something between cities. These award XP without requiring you to defeat enemies, letting you build a level cushion before combat.
Use Flight and Fast Travel Together
Hold Space on PC, A on Xbox, or X on PlayStation to begin flying. Hold Shift on PC or left trigger on a controller to boost your flight.
North Earth's fast travel points cover destinations around West City, Center City, East City, Baba's place, and the beach area near Roshi's Island. Use them to cross the map, then fly the remaining distance to your quest objective.
Pick up the easy delivery-style daily quests around West City before completing the remaining lookout-related special quest. Read each objective before accepting a fight: the goal here is to collect the errands that let you progress without combat.
Finish the Lookout and Yajirobe Errands
For the lookout portion of the route:
- Accept the remaining lookout-related purple quest.
- Fast travel to Baba's place.
- Fly up to the lookout and complete the objective.
- Drop down onto Korin's Tower.
- Accept Yajirobe's quest.
- Descend to the ground and find his bag of senzu beans.
Combined with the earlier special quests and easy dailies, this brings the route to around level 20. Before heading into your first story battle, spend the stat points you earned. Extra levels help most when you actually assign their points.
Build Your Stats and Clear the Early Story
For this Half-Saiyan route, split your early investment between Ki Damage and Melee, with some Health to support the fights ahead. You do not need a rigid numerical split to follow Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression.
| Stat focus | Purpose in the early route | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Ki Damage | Strengthens your energy attacks | Invest when using ranged attacks and ultimates |
| Melee | Strengthens close-range damage | Invest alongside Ki Damage for a hybrid build |
| Health | Supports survival during story battles | Add points as enemies become harder to handle |
| Agility | Provides more stamina and reduces drain from rush attacks, boosted flight, and snap vanishing | Invest if stamina limits your movement and combat options |
Keep the hybrid build focused on attacks you actually use. If your fights revolve around punches followed by an ultimate, support both damage types rather than putting everything into one and neglecting the other.
The Half-Saiyan damage boost activates at red health, but deliberately taking hits makes a fight harder to control. Use the bonus when it activates; keep blocking, dodging, and creating space.
Follow the Story Instead of Hunting Random Enemies
Head to Central City and accept the Mercenary Tao story quest. Continue through the farmer with his shotgun, the three evil Saiyans, and Raditz.
| Story encounter | Action to take | Progression benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Mercenary Tao | Spend your opening stat points before fighting | Begin the combat portion of the story |
| Farmer and evil Saiyans | Continue the quest chain and complete its follow-up objectives | Earn more XP and Zeni |
| Raditz | Use Dragon Rush to send him away, then charge ki and fire your ultimate | Unlock Raditz as a master |
| Z Fighters | Follow the story objectives; Tien stands alone on a rock | Advance toward Goku's Dragon Ball request |
| Nappa and Vegeta | Check transformation availability as you approach level 50 | Defeating Vegeta unlocks Goku and Vegeta as masters |
Raditz is where spacing becomes especially useful. Send him away with Dragon Rush, use the opening to recharge, and launch your ultimate while he is separated from you. Carry that pattern into later fights instead of trying to charge ki directly in an enemy's face.
After the Z Fighters, Goku asks you to wish him back using the Dragon Balls. Travel to the beach to reach Roshi's Island more easily, then return to the mainland for Nappa and Vegeta.
Use Transformations to Finish North Earth
Save your early Zeni for transformation unlocks. In the Half-Saiyan route, level 50 brings Great Ape, giving you a useful tool for the remaining North Earth battles.
Great Ape cannot be stunned. That lets you keep charging ki through attacks and follow with an ultimate. You still need to watch your health: resistance to stun does not mean enemy damage disappears.
This is a major turning point in Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression. Check your form options after Nappa, then use Great Ape against Vegeta and the later enemies when it fits your combat plan.
Train With Masters Along the Way
Raditz becomes available as a master after his defeat. Beating Vegeta also opens training with Vegeta and Goku.
Goku's techniques include Super Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb. Train with him if you want more attack options, or continue the story with your starting moves and Great Ape. This route does not require buying a moveset with Robux.
Master training also matters beyond learning attacks: completing a master to 100% awards a mastery point. Those points become useful when upgrading transformations in Other World.
Keep Going Through Cooler
The remaining North Earth story includes smaller errands and battles leading into:
- Turles and his henchmen.
- Lord Slug and his henchmen.
- Cooler and his henchmen.
Cooler is the final North Earth story opponent. The route reaches roughly level 88 after his defeat, leaving a short stretch before level 100.
If you arrive below that checkpoint, complete additional daily quests. Avoid measuring your progress only by the boss you just defeated; your earlier errands and daily quests also affect how much XP you have earned.
Finish Level 100 in Other World and Prepare Your Upgrades
When you die, the game offers Respawn or Go to Other World. After finishing North Earth, choose Other World to continue the route with its missions. Additional daily quests are another way to finish the remaining levels.
The final stretch of Dragon Generations level 1 to 100 progression also gives you a reason to work on Kaioken rather than chasing XP alone.
Obtain Kaioken From King Kai
Talk to King Kai and accept his request to find Bubbles. Fly back toward King Yemma's Palace over Snake Way and check the palace's back-left tower.
Kaioken mastery removes its health drain, enables progression to stronger versions through King Kai, and allows stacking with compatible transformations. Work through the separate Kaioken tiers toward Kaioken times 20.
| Upgrade task | What to do | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Obtain Kaioken | Complete King Kai's Bubbles quest | Gain access to Kaioken |
| Master Kaioken | Train it or spend mastery points | Remove its health drain and enable further upgrades |
| Advance Kaioken tiers | Return to King Kai after mastering a tier | Work toward Kaioken times 20 |
| Earn mastery points | Complete masters to 100% or run Other World raids | Fund transformation mastery |
| Finish leveling | Complete missions at the back of Hell | Reach level 100 |
For the remaining XP, head to the back of Hell and complete its missions. The route uses three missions there to bridge the gap to level 100.
Half-Saiyans unlock Unleashed Potential at that milestone. Master it through training or mastery points, then combine it with mastered Kaioken. The stacked form still consumes its duration bar even after Kaioken's health drain is removed.
Spend Zeni on Tools You Will Use
| Item or reward | Effect | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Tree of Might fruit | Adds 20% ki and melee damage and reduces damage taken by 20% for one minute; costs 2,500 Zeni | Save it for a difficult fight |
| Dragon Radar | Available from Bulma for in-game coins | Use it to locate Dragon Balls |
| Double XP wish | Grants an XP boost | Save it for continued leveling on Namek |
| Extra stat point wishes | Five wishes can grant 50 points each, totaling 250 | Add them to your longer-term progression |
| Stat reset wish | Resets your stat allocation | Use it when changing your build |
Kaioken times 20 also doubles flight speed, helping with Dragon Ball collection. Sweep the coastline and include Roshi's Island in your search. A Dragon Ball on the lookout can register on the radar while you fly beneath it, so check the radar before climbing.
