Start Strong Before Your First Story Fight
This Dragon Generations guide starts with a simple shortcut: collect easy quest XP before picking your first serious fight. Delivery and exploration quests can bring you to around level 20, making the opening North Earth battles much easier. Follow this Dragon Generations guide to build your fighter, unlock transformations, and reach level 100 without spending Robux.
Play Dragon Generations on Roblox, finish character creation, and complete the opening tutorial. Pay attention to punching, dodging, and energy attacks; those basics remain useful when enemies start blocking and using evasive moves.
Choose Your Race Around Your Transformation Goals
Half-Saiyan offers a helpful early advantage: its racial ability doubles your damage when your health enters the red zone. That damage boost supports a hybrid character using both melee attacks and Ki techniques.
There is a long-term tradeoff, though: the Half-Saiyan route does not provide access to Super Saiyan God. Choose your race with your eventual transformation path in mind, especially if God forms are your main reason for playing.
Avoid deliberately taking hits just to activate the low-health bonus. Use it to turn around a difficult fight while continuing to dodge and create space.
Learn Travel Controls Immediately
North Earth is large enough that walking between objectives eats into your leveling time. Learn flight and use fast travel while your character’s movement speed is still low.
| Action | PC | Xbox | PlayStation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open available missions | Tab | D-pad left | D-pad left |
| Start flying | Hold Space | Hold A | Hold X |
| Boost while flying | Hold Shift | Hold left trigger | Hold left trigger |
| Open the main menu | M | Select button | Select button |
Fast travel connects locations around West City, Center City, East City, Baba’s place, and the beach near Roshi’s Island. Pick the destination closest to your objective, then fly the remaining distance.
Follow This Dragon Generations Guide Through North Earth
Your mission list separates quests by color. Use that distinction to pick up easy experience before committing to the story.
Image: Roblox / Asunder Studios
| Quest color | Quest type | Opening priority |
|---|---|---|
| Purple | Special quests | Complete delivery and search objectives after the starting quest |
| Yellow | Daily quests | Add nearby noncombat tasks, especially around West City |
| Red | Story quests | Begin the combat progression after building up your level and stats |
Accept the accessible purple quests first. Many involve finding objects or carrying items between cities rather than defeating enemies. Combine those trips with nearby yellow quests so you earn experience while moving through the map.
For the special quest leading to the lookout, travel toward Baba’s place and fly upward to complete the objective. Drop onto Korin’s Tower afterward, accept Yajirobe’s quest, and search the ground below for his bag of senzu beans.
Aim to reach roughly level 20 before taking on Mercenary Tao. Spend your accumulated stat points before starting that battle.
Your Story Quest Route
This Dragon Generations guide follows the North Earth story instead of sending you into repeated boss attempts while underleveled.
| Stage | Objectives | Action to take |
|---|---|---|
| Opening battles | Mercenary Tao, the farmer, and the evil Saiyans | Use your early quest levels and allocated stats |
| Raditz | Defeat Raditz and unlock him as a master | Knock him away before charging Ki |
| Z Fighters | Fight the group, including Tien | Continue the story and watch for new objectives |
| Goku’s revival | Complete the Dragon Ball-related story task | Use the beach teleport to reach Roshi’s Island |
| Saiyan battles | Nappa, then Vegeta | Check your transformation menu around level 50 |
| Later North Earth encounters | Turles, Lord Slug, and their henchmen | Keep following the story chain |
| North Earth finale | Cooler and his henchmen | Finish the map’s final story encounter |
Raditz introduces a useful combat sequence: send him away with Dragon Rush, charge Ki while he is displaced, then launch your ultimate. That separation gives you a clearer opportunity to recharge than standing beside an attacking enemy.
Defeating Raditz unlocks his master training. Later, beating Vegeta unlocks both Vegeta and Goku as masters. Goku’s training includes Super Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb, giving you more techniques to work toward as your character develops.
Build Your Stats and Fight With a Purpose
For the Half-Saiyan route in this Dragon Generations guide, distribute early points between Ki damage and melee, then add health to support your fights. This lets you use ranged attacks and close combat while benefiting from the race’s low-health damage boost.
Spend points as you level. Carrying a pile of unused points into a boss fight leaves useful damage and survivability sitting in your menu.
Agility also supports stamina and reduces drainage from Rush attacks, boosted flight, and Snap Vanishing. Invest in it when those actions are limiting your movement or combat options.
Make Each Attack Create an Opening
Light punches, ranged Ki attacks, blocks, and dodges all serve different purposes. Mix them instead of repeating one move through every encounter.
- Use melee when you can stay close. Switch tactics when an enemy forces you out of range.
- Create distance before charging Ki. Dragon Rush can provide an opening by knocking an opponent away.
- Time dodges before incoming hits connect. Reacting after damage starts landing wastes the opportunity.
- Watch ultimate cooldowns. Using one ultimate can put another on cooldown, so plan your sequence.
- Return to easier quests when the level gap is too large. Build more stats before retrying.
Later path battles include enemies that block and use evasive moves. Practice responding to those defenses during the story rather than expecting every opponent to absorb uninterrupted attacks.
Use Great Ape During the Early Story
On the Half-Saiyan route, Great Ape becomes available at level 50. Save the Zeni earned through missions so you can pay for your transformation unlock when it becomes available.
Great Ape cannot be stunned, allowing you to charge Ki through incoming attacks and release an ultimate. Use that property during the remaining North Earth encounters, while still watching your health.
Stun immunity does not erase incoming damage. Keep healing items available and avoid treating the form as a reason to ignore your opponent entirely.
Reach Level 100 With Other World, Mastery, and Wishes
Finishing North Earth can leave you below level 100. If you complete Cooler around the high 80s, use Other World missions or additional daily quests to close the gap.
When the death screen offers a choice between respawning and traveling to Other World, select Other World to explore its quests. Missions toward the back of Hell provide additional combat objectives for finishing your early leveling.
Unlock Kaioken and Earn Mastery Points
Talk to King Kai to begin the Kaioken quest. Bubbles is at the back-left tower of King Yemma’s Palace when approaching the palace over Snake Way.
Kaioken mastery removes its health drain, opens stronger versions through King Kai, and enables stacking with compatible transformations. Continue returning to King Kai as you progress through the versions toward Kaioken times 20.
Completing a master’s training to 100% awards a mastery point. Other World raids also provide a way to earn mastery points.
For this Dragon Generations guide, prioritize training that provides both useful techniques and mastery progress. At level 100, Half-Saiyans unlock Unleashed Potential, giving you another form to develop.
Mastered Kaioken can stack with that form without damaging your health, although the transformation-duration bar still drains.
Spend Zeni on Useful Resources
| Resource | Effect or purpose | Spending tip |
|---|---|---|
| Senzu beans | Restore health | Bring them when preparing for difficult fights |
| Tree of Might fruit | Adds 20% Ki and melee damage and reduces damage taken by 20% for one minute | At 2,500 Zeni each, reserve them for attempts needing an extra boost |
| Dragon Radar from Bulma | Helps locate Dragon Balls | Use it when collecting a full set for wishes |
Earth Dragon Ball wishes include double XP, a stat reset, and 250,000 Zeni. You can also wish for 50 additional stat points five times, for a total of 250 extra points.
Use a stat-reset wish when you want to change your build’s focus. For example, you can move away from a hybrid setup and concentrate on Ki attacks.
When searching, follow the coastline and include Roshi’s Island in your route. Check the radar beneath the lookout, too; you can detect a Dragon Ball there without flying all the way up.
Claim Codes Through the Correct Menu
After loading your character, open the menu, choose Options, select Codes, enter the code, and press REDEEM.
The October 12, 2026 code list includes FINALGT for a one-hour Zeni boost and ROFUPDATE1 for one hour of double drops. Enter capitalization and punctuation exactly, without extra spaces.
If redemption fails, check the spelling and whether you already claimed the reward. Rejoin and wait for your character to finish loading before trying again.
Prepare for Paths and Super Saiyan Blue
Level 100 completes the opening stretch of this Dragon Generations guide, but later progression introduces race-restricted paths and more demanding training.
Path transformations become available at level 850. They provide buffs, techniques, and path passive abilities, with your race limiting which routes you can choose.
| Milestone | Progression goal |
|---|---|
| Level 50 on the Half-Saiyan route | Unlock Great Ape |
| Level 100 on the Half-Saiyan route | Unlock Unleashed Potential |
| Level 850 | Begin eligible path transformations |
| Level 1,200 | Meet the level requirement for Super Saiyan Blue |
Prepare Before Starting Whis’s Training
Super Saiyan Blue training takes you to Beerus’s planet and Whis. His opening request involves bringing a collection of food and drink items.
Read the requested quantities in his dialogue and check your existing inventory before buying supplies. The shopping list includes items such as cakes, ice cream, burgers, chocolates, meat, and drinks.
Another task sends you after Beerus’s laundry. Search near the lake and pillars by Whis, and watch the notification at the top of the screen when an item spawns.
Later training includes a timed fight against Goku and Vegeta, followed by a partner challenge involving a typing minigame while another player holds off Whis.
Equip your attacks and healing items before entering. Watch the battle timer immediately, and arrange who will handle the minigame and who will defend. Your partner does not need to follow the same transformation path.
Completing the training awards Super Saiyan Blue. Keep developing your masters, resources, and transformations along the way so you arrive with more than the required level.
